Nazima Ali Manik

Nazima Ali Manik is the Principal of Muhyiddin School, with more than 20 years of experience in education across various roles. Her leadership is rooted in a strong belief that education is about more than academic achievement—it is about nurturing confident, capable, compassionate, and lifelong learners. She believes that meaningful relationships are at the heart of meaningful learning. Through her leadership, she strives to create an inclusive, nurturing, and empowering school environment where every student feels valued, connected, supported, and encouraged to discover their potential. Nazima is passionate about preparing students not only for examinations, but for life. She is committed to creating opportunities for students to discover their strengths, develop practical and life skills, build resilience, and experience learning beyond the traditional classroom. She believes that when students are given the right opportunities, encouragement, and relationships, they can discover possibilities they may not have imagined for themselves. Her vision for Muhyiddin School is to foster a community where every student has a sense of belonging and every child is given the opportunity to participate, progress, and thrive. She is equally committed to building a positive school culture where values, relationships, inclusion, and effective pedagogy work together to create lasting impact.

Sobeeha Abdul Latheef is the Deputy Principal of Muhyiddin School, supporting the school’s leadership, academic development, and daily administration. She is committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment while working closely with teachers, students, and the wider school community to promote educational excellence and student wellbeing.
